I Heart Makeup Highlighter Review

Hello beautys,

Welcome back to my blog, I haven’t done a makeup review in ages. That’s because I hardly find time to wear makeup these days, I don’t like wearing it to work at at weekends in with my boyfriend, I am finally confident in my own skin.

Unicrons Heart

I bought this highlighter in superdrug and just fell in love with how pretty the colours are. I don’t own a highlighter with these colours so I just had to have it. After using it a few time I am impressed, it’s not my favourite highlighter I have ever used but for the price it’s very good. The pigment is so good and you don’t need a lot of product on to make it stand out. If your brave with colours in makeup you will definitely love this, I just think I need to be a bit braver when applying diffent colours in makeup.

Dragons Heart

This highlighter is one of my all time favourites, for £5 I can’t fault it at all. This one has beautiful pink and golden colours in which are definitely more my style. It’s so easy to apply it takes no effort at all and again the pigment is so good, you don’t need much product on your brush to make an impact. Once applied it looks so good and has that perfect pop to finish of your makeup look, it’s a product I would definitely recommend.

I really want to start getting back into my makeup reviews so keep your eyes out for more coming up in the next few weeks.

What’s In My Makeup Bag

Hello beauty’s,

After spending a few weeks with no motivation I finally feel more motivated again. I’m always scared to try new posts in case they are rubbish, but life is about taking risks.

Today’s blog post is going to be a What’s in my makeup bag. I haven’t actually done this before on my blog, so let’s get started!

So I keep all my makeup in my Beauty and the Beast bag, I got this from Primark for about £6.

The first thing I have pulled out of my bag is the Revolution Pro Fix Oil Control spray. This helps make my skin more matte when it’s really oily.

Next we have the Barry M That’s How I Roll Mascara. This curls my lashes so much and makes them look so lifted.

Next we have my favourite foundation by Rimmel. This is the Lasting Finish Breathable and it’s amazing, it’s a medium coverage foundation but it’s defiantly buildable. I have done a review on this product before.

I love my MUA highlighter, this one is in the shade Pink Shimmer. These only cost £3 but they give of so much pigment and colour.

I also have my Naked 3 palette I’m here, I haven’t been using it that much so I’m trying to get more use out of it. The colours are really pretty and blend nicely.

Then we have one of my all time favourite makeup products. This is the Maybelline Eraser Eye, this covers all my dark circles perfectly.

I have 2 Barry M eye brow products, one is a pencil and the other a powder. These products both help me get a nice brow shape and colour, I couldn’t live without them.

I have a Freedom Pro Contour Kit, I got mine in the shade medium which is a good colour for me. It’s very easily to blend and gives of a beautiful colour.

The last 2 makeup products are by Essence, Mattifying Powder gives me a nice matte finish after using my foundation. The Essence Mosaic Blush is one of the prettiest blushers I own. It has 3 shades for a radiant and fresh finish and it looks so pretty on.

In the bottom of my bag I have a few random bushes that I love and use to apply my makeup.

That is everything I have in my makeup bag, thank you so much for reading!

Rimmel Breathable

Hello beauty’s,

Welcome back to my blog, today is another makeup review. Lately I’ve had a block on what to post on my blog. I want to try new things but sometimes it not sure how it will go, I need to start taking more risks and see how it goes.

Anyway today I am going to be talking about a Foundation and Concealer I have recently fallen in love with. Every other Rimmel foundation I have bought I have loved it, so when it came to trying this one I was not surprised by how amazing it is.

I got mine in the shade 100 ivory which matched my skin tone very nicely. This foundation has breathable skin technology that moisturises for up to 25 hours. I haven’t worn this foundation for 25 hours but I can defiantly say for a foundation it does actually feel very moisturising on my face. This foundation is so nice to blend into your skin for a flawless look. This is also a medium coverage foundation but if you wanted I’m sure it could become a full coverage one. This foundation actually stayed on my skin looking good until the night time when I took it of. This is one of the best Rimmel foundations in my eyes and I know once I use mine up I will be buying another one.

The concealer is also a medium coverage. I got mine in the shade light which is a really good match for me. This one defiantly covers my imperfections really well, the thing I love about it the most is it has a cushion applicator making it so easy to blend. And if you are out and about and need a touch up of it, you don’t need to use anything else as you have the cushion on the end for good blending.

These are defiantly products I will love and recommend forever.

Have you tried this foundation before?

Thank you for reading.

Revolution Highlighter Review

Hello beauty’s,

So from now blog posts are going to be every Thursday , it just makes it easier for me.

Anyway today I am going to be talking about the Soph Highlighter palette. I’ve wanted this for a while but I just never got round to buying it. It cost me £8 from superdrug.

I have recently become obsessed with Highlighters so when I saw this one I just had to have it, and I am very impressed with. This honestly is one of the best ones I have ever bought. Firstly these colours are so beautiful, I love the pink and gold colours the most.

These Highlighters are so pigmented I love them, you don’t need a lot of product for the colour to pop which I love. The colours apply so nicely and so effortlessly, this is something I would defiantly re buy once I’ve used mine up. All the colours look beautiful on, I’m going to get so much use out of this.

I would rate this product 10/10 for sure, It’s a must have for me now.

What’s your favourite Highlighter ?

Revolution Guest List Review

Hello beauty’s,

Today I am back with a makeup review. Today I am going to be reviewing the Revolution Guest List palette.

Can we firstly talk about the amazing and pretty packaging! I’m so in love with it. So I have been wanting this palette for a while, my lovely boyfriend got me it for Christmas! I am so lucky.

So the colours in this palette are beautiful. I am so in love with them, I actually don’t own a palette of warm colours. This palette has 24 colours with a mix of shimmer and matte. Once again you get a big mirror inside which I love.

Now let’s talk about the colours. With this palette you could create so many different looks. My favourite colours are Lock It, Loose, Bold and Dark Corner. Once again I am very impressed these colours have a really good pigment. You do need to build the colour up a little to get amazing results. The colours are very easy to blend to create an amazing look. I love this palette it’s defiantly one you should all check out.

Holler And Glow Face Mask Review

Hello beauty’s,

Happy 2018! So from now on I am going to be uploading new blog posts every Thursday and Friday!. So this year I want to try out some different posts on my blog, one of them is testing face masks… with my boyfriend Luke. I have somehow managed to get him to agree to test a face mask with me every month!

The first one we have tested is the Holler and Glow rainbow chaser. This is an illuminating peek of Mask from Primark and they only cost £3.

The mask is left on for about 20 minutes, it was actually very easy to apply and a little product goes a long way.

My thoughts after using the mask: My face definitely has a nice clean glow to it after using the mask and it has made my skin feel better. It’s not the best face mask I have ever used but it is nice, I’d rate it 7/10 but I’ve had masks that do a lot more for my skin.

Luke’s thoughts: This is the first ever face mask I have ever done so I don’t have anything to compare it to. It’s made my skin feel tight and a little bit dry. It peeled of very easily which I was impressed with. Since it’s my first face mask I’d rate this 6/10.

Overall I think this face mask is ok, but it definitely isn’t my favourite one. I hope you all enjoyed this post. And a big thank you to Luke for actually agreeing to do this with me!

See you all tomorrow!
