August Favourites

Hello everyone, I hope you have all had an amazing week, so for this weeks post I have decided to do a monthly favourites, I might try and do a favourites every month.

So the first product is by Soap and Glory and it’s the perfect ten palette, I got this last year in the sales just after Christmas but I have only just started using it.

The colours are amazing and it offers a different range of colours to use and create different eye looks, these colours are so pigmented I love them, the colours are so easy to blend as well, I’m not sure why I didn’t try this palette when I first bought it, I will defiantly be checking out more of Soap and Glorys makeup.

The next product is by Rimmel and it’s the stay matte powder, this is something I will always use as I love it that much and mines in the shade transparent.

So I apply this once I have my foundation on and it just gives me a nice matte finish and helps hold my makeup in place for longer, I have also seen that lots of people love this as much as I do.

The next product is a foundation by seventeen and I haven’t really tried any of there products before so I got mine in the shade light, I wasn’t expecting much from this foundation but I love it, it was so easy to blend out and the coverage is amazing and the shade matched my skin perfectly I would defiantly recommend this foundation.

The next product is my contour kit from collection, I first saw this in one of zoellas videos so I decided to go a buy if for myself, I’m not an expert in makeup and haven’t been wearing it that long so this was my first ever contour kit when I bought it, and I love it, it was so easy to use and even had a small picture on the back to show how to apply it which was helpful and the highlighter is really pigmented and it was under £5.

This is my Loreal fixing mist, at first I didn’t really like this but it has grown on me a lot, I apply this after putting my makeup on so it can hold my makeup in place for longer and that’s what it does for me, since I have started using this I have seen an improvement in my makeup during the days as nothing fades much as it used to when it was really warm.

This is my Rimmel lipstick in the shade 20, I am in love with this lipstick I wear it nearly every day, it’s so moisturising and it’s so easy to apply, the colour doesn’t really fade when you eat or drink I’d rate this 10/10 I just love Rimmel lipsticks.

The last product is a Zoella one and this is her new body mist, I got this in superdrug for £8, firstly the packaging is amazing it’s such a pretty bottle I love it, I didn’t think I would like this as I don’t normally go for sweet things but this smells amazing, if you don’t have this you should defiantly check it out.
I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Avon Matte Lipsticks

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog thank you for all the amazing support on my last post I was in shock when I saw how many people had liked it!

Today’s post is going to be an Avon lipstick review so basically my mum is an Avon rep so I always look in her first look book for the good deals and I saw the matte lipsticks were only £3.85 so I of course had to buy 3 of them and then I decided to review them becuase that’s what I do best.

So the first one I went for is the shade pure pink and this is like a pink nude colour, I was not expecting much from these lipsticks as they claim to be better then Mac but even though I have fallen in love with the Avon lipsticks I think Mac is still better, so this colour is really pigmented I wear it on days I don’t want a dramatic pink or red lip, it’s so easy to apply and it also didn’t dry out my lips like I expected to.

The next shade is electric pink, I have recently been loving bright pink lipsticks so it was no surprise when I picked this beautiful colour out, again this was so easy to apply and it’s really pigmented, this is defiantly going to be a lipstick I reach for most days now, it’s gets a 10/10 for me.

And the last shade is Ruby Kiss, now I normally don’t wear that much red lipstick but this one looked pretty so I thought I would give it a go, now this is just your classic red colour and I am so impressed with this colour is suited me really well which surprised me as sometimes a red lipstick can wash me out, the only thing about these lipsticks is when you eat and drink the colour does rub of so you do need to re apply but you do with most lipsticks anyway.

I think these lipsticks are really matte, easy to apply and are really pigmented so I will defiantly be buying some more very soon, they offer a huge colour selection from reds to pinks to corals, nudes and more so if you do receive an Avon book it’s defiantly worth checking them out and I know sometimes they are on offer for £5.50, I’m just happy my mum lets me order from her book to get a few pounds knocked of the price.
Thank you so much for reading this post, I hope you liked this review, if your new then I upload a new post every Sunday and I love you all so much

Blushers and bronzers

Hello lovelies, so this weeks review is going to be on my favourite blushes and bronzers I have tried.

So the first product I’m going to talk about is the Essence silky touch blush, you can find this company in the wilkinsons stores.

So at first I was not sure about this product as it only cost me £1 so I didn’t think it would have much to offer but I was wrong, this blush is so pigmented, it’s applies so well it’s so easy to blend and the colour is amazing defiantly one of my favourite products right now

So the next product is a Tanya burr product which I love, you can buy these from superdrug stores.

In this palette you get a broker, blusher and a highlighter, the bronzer is such an amazing colour I have nearly used it all up so I will defiantly have to get another one of these, the blush is so pigmented it’s such a pretty colour and I haven’t used the highlighter that much yet, I would defiantly recommend this to anyone.

The next product is the Rimmel natural bronzer, it lasts all day without fading which I have found some bronzers tend to do in summer even with makeup spray on but this gives me a nice tanned look, I’ve had this for a while so I’m not really sure of the price but I love this bronzer and I will defiantly be check out more from Rimmel.

The next product I’m going to talk about is blush and glow by collection, again I can not remember the price of this.

This contains one bronzer, one highlighter and two blushes, I use the bronzer for contouring as its super easy to blend and it’s such a nice colour, the highlighter is so pigmented and gives me a more of a wide a wake look, and the blush is really pigmented and a nice sutle colour for my skin, it’s such an amazing product.

So the next product is another bronzer and this is by I love makeup and I got this from superdrug for £4.99, wow this product is so pigmented it’s basically everything you would want from a bronzer puls look how pretty the packaging is this gets a rating of 10/10 from me.

I also have this blusher from the same company, this gives me a nice check finish and stops me from looking so pale, it’s so easy to blend in and gives a nice natural finished look, this will always been one of my favourite products.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you have an amazing week

Kimms Beauty

Pip and Charlie

Hello lovelies, so today’s blog post is going to be slightly different from all the others I have done, today’s blog post is not a review, it’s a meet my new pets!

So I first found my love for Guinea pigs last year when a woman down my street gave us hers for free since her children didn’t bother with him, when he arrived he was in a hamster cage so I went to pets at home and got him a new cage for £50, moving on he sadly died a few months ago from old age so I only had a year with him.

Instead of just getting rid of the perfectly good cage I decided to keep it becuase I was planning on getting some more in like 6 moths time but I’m Friday when visiting a pet store close to my house my mum asked if they had any Guinea pigs for sale, and the man who breeds them said yes I will have 2 boys ready tomorrow who are brothers, so my mum bought them without seeing them first and I was in shock! But  I am so happy with them I’m so in love.

This is Pip I’m not sure what breed he is but he’s 8 weeks old, out of both of them he is the boss and Charlie follows him around everywhere he loves his hay and his food.

This is Charlie again not sure what breed, but when we go him home I thought he was dead becuase he was so still, turns out he’s just so calm like he doesn’t have a care in the world but he loves cuddles with me and Pip.

I have actually made an instagram account for them so if you want to follow them it’s @pipandcharlie

They are sharing a cage for now but I am getting an indoor run made for them soon as they will out grow the cage, so when I get the run I’m going to buy them places to sleep and lots of toys I’m so excited to have them in my life!

If you want to see a cage tour in a few months then let me know also I am going to be filming a YouTube video on them in a few weeks time were you can actually see them better

I hope you enjoyed this blog post, thank you for all the wonderful support
