Sometimes life can really get you down and make you feel rubbish. So for today’s post I thought it would be good to make a list on 10 Things I Love.
- I love reading. When I read a book for me it’s an escape from the real world. For a few minutes you can just get away with it all and be so Into a story.
- Doing my Makeup. It’s nothing something I do a lot of now, but when I do I feel so good about myself and so confident.
- Bubble baths. At the end of the day I love getting a relaxing bubble bath. It just puts my mind at ease.
- My kitten Lucy. She can be so annoying at times but she is so cute, I just love her a lot.
- Music defiantly makes me happy. I listen to it to and from work and whenever I can, I love how it can put me in a good mood.
- Watching tv series. I love binge watching TV series when there is nothing else to do.
- The teddy my boyfriend got me. It’s just so cute and so soft, I love it so much.
- Blogging is defiantly one of the main things that make me happy. I love writing and coming up with new blog post ideas.
What’s one thing that makes you happy?
So I have recently read JoJo Moyes Still Me, it’s the third book in the Me Before You series.
This book is so good, I loved everything about it and fell in love with all the charters again. It’s defiantly a book I would re read over and over and never get bored of it. Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down, it grabs you into the story from the first page. It was easy to connect to the story line and it made me feel as if I was watching it all play out right in front of me.
Still Me is about Lou and her new job in New York, she knows her employer is a good man and she knows his wife is keeping a secret from him. But Lou meets josh who looks a bit like Will.
I won’t tell you to much about the book as I don’t want to spoil it for you. But the story is so well written and there was so many things I didn’t expect. I 100% recommend this book, it’s so worth the read.
What’s your favourite book?
Having a blog has defiantly had a good impact on my life, it has changed so many things for me.
I have always loved writing but I never had anywhere to share it, I just wanted a place where I could express myself. I created a blog 2 years ago today and since creating this blog I have defiantly grown as a person.
I have learnt how confident I can be with writing when I’m talking about something I love. After 2 years of blogging I didn’t think I’d be as far as I am now. I started my blog as an escape from the real world, somewhere I could 100% be myself.
I have achieved so many things on my blog and have so many other plans for the future. I’m so happy to have been blogging for 2 years and I will carry on for many more years.
Thank you for all your support that you have given me. Your support is the reason I carry on blogging, I love you all so much.
Welcome back to my blog, today me and my boyfriend are going to be reviewing another face mask.
This time it is 7th Heaven Cucumber peel of mask review, and this one cost me £1 each.
So this mask is suppose to gently remove dirt and grime and leave the skin looking clean and cool. This mask is also cutlery free which is jut an extra bonus. You leave this mask on for 20-25 minutes until it dries.
The mask was a bit awkward to put on as it dropped everywhere when I opened the product. The mask it’s self has defiantly made my skin look a lot clear and a bit more brighter. The mask also peeled of all in one go which is always good. And this mask has taken all the oil out of my skin which is the best thing ever. I’d rate this mask 8/10 and I would use it again.
It has a very strong citrus smell and scent. It made my eyes water a bit due to strong scent but it was refreshing and made me feel alive and awake, It also made my skin feel like it was new. For me it didn’t come of in one big piece it came of in little bit. I would rate this 6/10 due to making my eyes a bit sore as the lime was very strong in it.
If you have any other products you’d like us to test together leave them in the comments !
I hope your week is going well for you. Today I am going to be talking about trying new things.
Recently I haven’t really had many blog post ideas becuase I feel like I’m not reaching out and trying new things. Then I realised I never really try anything new. I’ve been stuck with the same blog posts for a while now, I love writing my Makeup reviews but i want to switch it up a bit.
I’ve been blogging for nearly 2 years and change can be really good!, so I’m going to have a think of some new things to talk about in blog posts, also I’m going to try new things out in life, like trying on clothes I wouldn’t normally pick.
I might actually every so often write a chatty blog post like this one, as I do enjoy writing posts like this.
Welcome back to my blog. I hope your week is going well so far.
I was kindly sent some things from Feather And Down to review. I defiantly do recommend trying some of their products, they have always been amazing for me. You can buy Feather And Down products from boots stores.
Feather And Down
So the first thing they sent me is the Calming Candle. I have always loved candles, so when I was sent this product I couldn’t contain my excitement. This candle has defiantly helped me relax more before bed. As the candle burns essential oils realise the most charming fragrance to fill your room with complete serenity. This candle has defiantly improved my sleep buy helping me feel more calm before bed. This is something I defiantly recommend if you have problems relaxing before bed.
They also sent me a Soothing Body Oil, which is also amazing. This has calming lavender and chamomile essential oils. So I normally spray this into my skin before bed, rub it in and allow it to dry. The oils help to prepare your body for a restful nights sleep. Massaging oils into your skin which can reduce stress and anxiety by decreasing muscle tension which can help improve relaxation. This has defiantly helped me relax before bed and put me in a good mind set for bed.
Since using both these products my sleep has gotten a lot better and I am going to continue to use these products. I would defiantly recommend giving these products a try.
Thank you so much for your support and for reading.
Welcome back to my blog, I hope your all doing well.
This year I have decided I want to make my blog a bit more personal. As much as I love makeup and beauty I think my blog should be more real.
Something that has affected me for a while is anxiety. Anxiety can make you feel so alone and worried, but please remember support is always available.
For me I also have Depression as well As Anxiety and it can be really shit at times. I used to bottle everything up but that is not the answer.
Over the past few years I have learnt how to deal with it and how to cope when it gets really bad. But when it is bad and my mind starts to wonder I have a list of things to try and distract myself from worrying. These things may not help everyone but for me they seem to work:
Things that help my Anxiety
- Reading a book
- Having a nice relaxing bath
- Listening to my favourite music
- Writing out goals for myself
- Talking to someone I trust
- Writing blog posts and taking blog pictures
- Watching a happy film
If your anxiety is really bad my best advice is to seek help, it may be scary but remember you are not alone.
If you ever need someone to talk to I am always available, I’m only a message away.
Thanks for reading.
