Wild Like Me Book Review

Hello beauty’s,

So today I am back with a book review, I haven’t done a book review in a very long time so I thought it was about time I did one.

So when Louise first announced she was brining out a book I was every excited, I was not disappointed. This book is so good and had me hocked from the first page, it’s such a lovely story.

So this book is about Robin Wilde, a single mum and she is very good at her job, she has a great best friend and a bonkers Auntie and her daughter Lyla to love. But she has a secret sometimes she feels very lonely. At first she struggles to fit in with the school mums, until she realises she needs to get out there and change her life.

A little courage can go a long way and exciting new opportunities are soon on the horizon, and maybe a man.

Normally I’m more into romance filled books so when I buy a book that isn’t based around that it’s always a risk for me. I wasn’t disappointed though, all the characters are so well written and it was so easy to imagine what the characters would look like and sound like. Louise has done a great job with this book and it’s so worth giving it a read.

Have you read this book?

Dream Cushion Review

Hello beauty’s,

So today I am going to be doing another little makeup review. I love writing these reviews as I get to talk about new products I have recently tried and let you know what I think about them.

So this product is from Maybelline, I can’t remember the price but I did get it from Superdrug when Maybelline was doing 2 products for 12 pound which is amazing. I love foundations, I seem to have a lot of them over this past year, I just think the base of your makeup is very important. And looking through my collection I actually don’t own a foundation like this, so I of course had to have it.

At first I wasn’t sure if I would like this product as I’ve never had anything like it, but I was wrong. It’s such a lovely foundation, possibly could be up there as one of my favourites I own. It was so easy to apply and blend, it went on like a dream and took no effort at all. I wasn’t sure if this colour would match my skin tone but it’s the perfect shade. I loved the finished look of this foundation as well. Overall this foundation takes less then 5 minutes to blend, so if your in a rush it’s the perfect one to use, it gives you a nice natural look and I have oily skin and it works perfectly for it.

This is a medium coverage foundation but I think you would definitely be able to build it up if you really wanted to. I would definitely re buy this product I am in love with it.

Thank you so much for reading.

Tanya Burr Lip Balms

Hello beauty’s,

I hope you are all doing good, so today I am going to be talking about 3 products by Tanya which I have recently bought and love.

So I recently got the new lip balms from Tanya’s new collection, they cost £4.99 each and you can buy them from Superdrug.

So I have Blackberry Coulis, Strawberry Milkshake and Sweet Lime Pie.

Firstly these balms are so nice on the lips, they instantly made my lips feel so much softer and much more hydrated, they also smell incredible!, each one lives up to what it says on the tin, my favourite would have to be the Blackberry one.

I am also in love with the little tins they come in, which probably sounds a bit weird but I am in love with the tins.

If you haven’t tried these I would definitely recommend them, I don’t really use that many lip balms but I can see myself getting a lot of use out of these.

So this was just a quick blog to share with you, I hope you enjoyed reading.

PS.. Get Lippy Review

Hello beauty’s,

So today I am going to be trying and reviewing some lip products from Primark, so these are the Get Lippy Matte Collection and you get a liquid lipstick and a lip liner.

So the frost colour I’m going to be trying is Flutter which is a very nice pink nude. So both the products was a dream to apply they just glided on my lips with ease which I love. It also dried matte in a few seconds and it feels so lightweight on, so far I am loving it but let’s see how it’s lasts during the day. When you eat and drink the colour does come of so you have to reapply it but you do with most lipsticks anyway I am loving this product and the colour I would definitely recommend it.

And the next shade I got was Cookie Dough which is such a beautiful nude colour, again it was so easy to apply, I had no problems with it, the only thing I don’t like is after a while it does feel very drying but if you put lip balm on before it that really helps, I would definitely buy more of these and I will be getting a lot of use of them, for £3 I am very impressed.

Have you ever tried any Primark Makeup? Let me know in the comments.

Foot Peel Mask!? Does it work!?

Hello beauty's

I hope you all doing well, today I am tearing the Holler and Glow sock mask from Primark.

So this is basically to remove all your dead skin from your feet, I have always wanted to try one of these but I wasn't sure if it would work or not so I decided to get one to test it out and since it was only £4 I had to see what it was like.

So you leave it on your feet for 60 minutes and then just wait and see what happens.

Day 1
Nothing's happens yet but it did say on the packet it could take 7 days to work.

Day 2
Still nothing but today my feet started to feel a bit dry but your not aloud to Moisturise.

Day 3
Tiny bits of skin has started to peel but not much to make a difference.

Day 4
A lot of my skin has actually started to peel today which I am shocked at I didn't expect it to start working just yet.

Day 5
So today all my skin has started to peel which I am very impressed with!

So after using this product it has definitely made a difference my feet look and feel so much better I would definitely recommend this product and it definitely does the job.

Thank you for all the support recently!

My Year So Far

Hello beauty's,

So as this year is going really fast I thought it would be nice to look back on some of my favourite memories of this year so far.

  1. Getting a job, this has made such a huge difference to my confidence I am such a different person since working and I'm so glad about that.

2. Getting my Kitten, I did do a blog post about her but she's so cute I am in love with her so much.

3. Going to concerts, I have been to quiet a few this year, I just love the feeling you get when you go to concerts I would go to more if I could.

3. Seeing my blog grow is one of my favourite things this year, I just love blogging and coming up with posts and then seeing you like them means so much to me and hitting 300 followers was crazy I can't wait to see what else happens.

5. Meeting new people, this year I have been on a few dates and some of them haven't gone that well at all but I've had one that was great so that's amazing.

I've had my down moments this year which have tried to knock me down but overall it's been really great and I wouldn't change anything about this year at all, I can't wait to make more memories with the rest of this year.

Thank you for all the great memories on my blog so far.

July Favourites 2017

Hello Beauty's,

So it has been a while since I did a Favourites blog post so I thought it would be fun to do one.

My first favourite is actually a TV show Gilmore Girls, it's about a mum and daughter their life's through the good times and bad times, I have seen this series so much and I still never get bored of it.

So I have been loving the Tanya Burr My Paradise palette, now I did review this before but I am still loving it, the colours are just so amazing and so pigmented for the price of £5.99 I love them.

Another makeup favourite is the MUA Highlighter in the shade Rosewood Glimmer, now these only cost £3 and it's so worth the money, it's so pretty and so pigmented I can't believe it's only £3, this colour looks so pretty on I can't fault it, I want more of them in different shades!

My next favourite is a foundation by Rimmel, Fresher Skin Foundation, this has such a lovely natural finish and the colour matches my skin tone perfectly, it's so easy to blend and the finished look is amazing.

My next Favourites are 2 phone cases, I love them so much and they didn't even cost a lot, please tell me I'm not the only one to get enjoyment out of phone cases.

Then I have these pretty shoes from Primark, I've never been that into clothes and shoes until this year really, starting to like thinks I never used to and these sparkly pink shoes are so cute, I'm definitely going to get a lot of use out of these, they only cost £4!

And my last favourite is also from Primark and it's this little Tinker-bell purse it's just so cute and I think it was about £3.

What have you been loving in July?

Thanks so much for reading everyone
